Myrtle Beach Marathon

The Myrtle Beach Marathon takes place on March 7, 2020 and has been named one of America’s “10 great winter marathons” by USA Today!  In addition to a marathon, the event includes a half marathon, marathon team relay, 5k, and a family fun run, making it ideal for anybody who wants to participate.  The course features 9 beautiful beachfront miles and is one of the flattest and fastest in the country.  Whether you are looking to qualify for the Boston Marathon, set a personal record, or just have a little fun, the Myrtle Beach Marathon is guaranteed to met your needs!

Myrtle Beach Marathon Health and Wellness Expo

  • Time: 10AM to 6PM 
  • Where: Dave & Busters, Broadway at the Beach

Kick off your race weekend with some fun at Dave & Buster’s in Broadway at the Beach. You can pick up your race packet, shop for gear from a ton of vendors, and have loads of fun playing the games in the gigantic arcade. All participants will receive a free Power Card for unlimited video game play and 20% off all food and non-alcoholic drinks.

Marathon Location and Time:

  • Start time: 7AM on Saturday, March 7, 2020
  • The Myrtle Beach Marathon will start just South of the intersection of Grissom Parkway and 21st Ave. North Myrtle Beach, SC.

Half Marathon Location and Time:

  • Start time: 7AM on Saturday, March 7, 2020
  • The Myrtle Beach Half Marathon will start just South of the intersection of Grissom Parkway and 21st Ave. North Myrtle Beach, SC.

Course Aid Stations for Marathon and Half Marathon

  • Water and sports drinks will be available approx every 2 miles along the course
  • Food stations will be available at miles 14 and 22
  • Port-a-Johns will be available at the start/finish and every 2-3 miles along the course

Myrtle Beach 5K Location and Time:

  • Start time: 8AM
  • The 5k will start along the Boardwalk at the Myrtle Beach Pavilion (just south of Plyler Park).

Myrtle Beach Family Fun Run

  • Start time: 1PM Saturday, March 7, 2020
  • Location: TicketReturn.com Field at Pelicans Ballpark Outfield
  • Approx 1 mile
  • Open to all ages
